Innovation of dietary assessment methods in epidemiological studies and public health

IDAMES

Review and improvement of dietary assessment methods to better measure diet in large-scale epidemiological studies is an ongoing task.

The IDAMES project generates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for innovative, improved and feasible methods assessing diet in epidemiological studies that allow quantitative and detailed characterization of individuals regarding their dietary intake, including alcohol, in individuals to be applied in the European Union and other places and to be used by scientists and other stakeholders in Public Health.

HHF contributes to the major outcomes of this project:

IDAMES Standard Operating Procedures Information Leaflet (IDAMES Standard_Operating_procedures.pdf)

IDAMES State of the Art Report (IDAMES State_of_the_Art_Report.pdf)

Standard Operating Procedures 24-Hour Dietary Recall Booklet (IDAMES SOP_24HDR.pdf)

Standard Operating Procedures Food Frequency / Food Propensity Questionnaire Booklet (IDAMES SOP_EFPQ.pdf)
