EUGMS (European Union Geriatric Medicine Society), in an effort to support the initiative of Greek physicians of all specialties interested in Geriatrics and the care of the elderly, organized a workshop in Athens, on June 26, 2017, titled: Development of Geriatric Medicine : A perspective for a new approach towards the older patients. This meeting was the starting point of a Pan-Hellenic cooperation between physicians and health care providers involved in the care of the aging population. Hellenic Helath Foundation contributed to this activity.
