The Olive Oil & Olive Friends Club "FILAIOS" participated in the 2020 global celebration of olive oil, an institution established by the International Olive Council (IOC-COI, based in Madrid). From the 16th to the 30th of November 2020, FILAIOS held a series of events for celebrating the Greek national products of the olive tree and olive oil.

FILAIOS members and friends had the opportunity, part of "The Days of Olives and Olive Oil 2020" celebrations, to attend the "live" digital event "Olive: Its contribution to the economy, nutrition, culture and environment" with the participation of distinguished scientists and technocrats.

Antonia Trichopoulou M.D., President of the Hellenic Health Foundation, presented the "Mediterranean Diet, Olive Trees and the Environment".
