The Congress was conceived as a forum for the presentation and discussion of the most recent advances in human nutrition and its intimate relationships to health and wellbeing of the world populations.

HHF involvement

Presentation of results from the ANEMOS project, coordinated by HHF: An abstract presenting dietary patterns of households reporting high daily availability of drinks was submitted to the Congress Scientific Committee and was accepted to be orally presented.

Presentation of analysis undertaken in the context of the EPIC-PANACEA project: The HHF, leader of the analysis on possible associations between eating out and obesity, submitted an abstract presenting the results of a comparative analysis of dietary intakes at home, at restaurants and at work. The abstract was accepted as an oral presentation. Upon its conclusion, the presentation was granted with the Sight and Life Excellence in Research Award (in recognition of undertaking research that has scientific, policy and/or programmatic relevance).
