Event description
The 4th Plenary Meeting aimed to present the key achievements of the project during the past 3 years, to foster discussion on the problems encountered during the 3rd year and to acquaint the participants with the new steps to be taken for the continuation of the project.

During the meeting preliminary analyses of harmonised data were presented for some of the project proposals and problems regarding data analyses were pointed out.

The presence of the CHANCES Project Officer in the meeting was of major importance to the Consortium. In her presentation she emphasized the importance of ageing research, notably on healthy ageing.

Within the CHANCES 4th Plenary meeting a Statistical Workshop was realised (11 February, 2013), with the purpose of giving an overview of the activities of the network of statisticians that was established in the wiki, presenting the approaches to data analyses in the CHANCES project and introducing the ways of communicating within the network of statisticians.
