The CHANCES Dissemination and Networking Workshop
took place on February 12, 2014. The main aim of
the Workshop was to bring together leading
scientists from around the world, who are engaged
in Active and Healthy Ageing in order to provide
its guests learning and afford them a unique
opportunity to network and forge working
relationships.
Dr. Boffetta made a presentation on the CHANCES
project, followed by presentations given by the
CHANCES Work Package Leaders on the work progress
in the several WPs.
The CHANCES Consortium was honoured to welcome Dr.
Hanna Tolonen (National Institute for Health and
Welfare-THL/Seven Country Study), Ms. Juliet Craig
(The University of Sheffield/ FUTURAGE project),
Dr. Andrew Steptoe (University College London-UCL/
English Longitudinal Study of Ageing - ELSA), Dr.
Robert Bauer (Austrian Road Safety
Board-KfV/INTEGRIS project) and Dr. Archana
Singh-Manoux (INSERM, University College
London-UCL)/ Whitehall II study), who gave
presentations on the projects they were
representing.
