COMPOSITION TABLES OF FOODS AND GREEK DISHES

The tables are based on the book “Composition tables of foods and Greek dishes’, 3rd edition (A. Trichopoulou, 2004). The book is divided into 3 sections. Section 1, which refers to composition tables of generally simple foods that are widely used in Greece, which were compiled, with permission, from “Her Majesty’s Stationary Office” from the McCance and Widdowson’s “The Composition of Foods” 5th edition is not presented on this website, but the nutritional composition of these foods is available on the website of the Foods Standard Agency, UK:
