COLLABORATIONS


HCDCP
The HYDRIA study is conducted by the Hellenic Health Foundation (HHF) in collaboration with the Hellenic Center for Disease Control & Prevention (HCDCP, www.keelpno.gr) of the Ministry of Health. HCDCP will make use of the conclusions of the study, informing the Health Charter of the Ministry of Health and contributing to the development and implementation of targeted and effective health policies.
COLLABORATING HEALTH CENTERS
Thirty- three collaborating health centers, located in all 13 prefectures of the country, provide a benchmark for the study. Fifty-five health professionals working in these centers actively contribute to the completion of the study by contribution in data collection procedures. These health professionals have been thoroughly briefed on the study and its methods and have received appropriate training in data collection procedures through an earlier experiential seminar. The HYDRIA study is conducted in all counties of the 13 prefectures of the country. Data collection is taking place in health centers, other facilities providing primary health care (e.g. local clinics) and other local facilities that participants can easily access.

WHO - COLLABORATING CENTRE FOR FOOD AND NUTRITION POLICIES


The Collaborating Centre for Food and Nutrition Policy of the World Health Organization of the Laboratory of Hygiene, Epidemiology and Medical Statistics (Faculty of Medicine, University of Athens) also contributes to the HYDRIA study (www.nut.uoa.gr)

BIOCHEMICAL LABORATORY OF GENERAL HOSPITAL OF ATHENS "ÊÁÔ"

The Biochemical Laboratory of General Hospital of Athens "KAT" (accredited according to ISO 15189) cooperates with the Hellenic Health Foundation, in the HYDRIA project, conducting laboratory tests on blood samples, which are collected from a representative sample of participants from across the country.
